Preface to the Second Revised Edition
We are pleased to present the second edition of this book. The warm reception, which the previous edition of this book enjoyed, has been a matter of great satisfaction to us.
This book “A Complete Manual of Hydraulics” contains all the contents of the syllabus prescribed by the Institute of Engineering This book has been divided into 10 chapters Each chapter contains complete theory, numerical examples and sufficient additional numerical solved examples.
In the second edition, some print mistakes are corrected and the book is thoroughly checked for other minor errors. Now, this edition of Hydraulics is much sufficient for both theory and Numerical aspects. Enough extra numerical examples and important numerical examples are added in each chapter. Computer coding for open channel flow is also added in this edition. This edition contains examination solutions up to 2076 Bhadra.
Inspite of every care taken to check the contents of the various formula, numerical, some errors may remain uncorrected and we shall be obliged for any intimation of these which students may discover.
